Halyna Pahutiak (born 1958) is a Ukrainian writer and recipient of the Shevchenko National Prize, recognized as one of the leading voices in contemporary Ukrainian mystical and philosophical prose.
Her works blend elements of Gothic aesthetics, mythology, and psychological insight. Central themes include solitude, spiritual search, and the fragile boundaries of human consciousness.
She has developed a distinctive literary style in which reality and the supernatural coexist organically.
