Ostap Vyshnia

Ostap Vyshnia was a Ukrainian humorist and one of the most popular satirical writers of the twentieth century.

His real name was Pavlo Hubenko. He became famous for his humorous sketches known as “usmishky.”

Vyshnia’s works are known for wit, vivid language, and a warm depiction of Ukrainian life and nature.
