Mariana Savka
Mariana Savka (born 1973) is a Ukrainian poet, writer, translator, and publisher, co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Old Lion Publishing House. She is one of the prominent figures of contemporary Ukrainian literature.
Her creative work includes poetry, prose, and children’s literature. Savka’s poetry is known for its intimate tone, musical language, and deep attention to human emotions. She frequently explores themes of love, memory, femininity, and personal freedom.
In addition to her literary work, she actively contributes to the development of Ukrainian publishing and promotes Ukrainian literature both nationally and internationally.
