Meeting “Memories of Our Youth”

Community, Memories and Art Therapy at the Library

Today, the space was filled with a particularly warm and welcoming atmosphere during the touching meeting “Memories of Our Youth”, led by a psychologist from the NGO RESCUE.

Together, the participants mentally returned to the unforgettable years of their youth. The room was filled with stories about first love, youthful dreams, memorable encounters, and favorite songs that still touch the heart today. There were many sincere smiles, moments of gentle nostalgia, and warm words that brought everyone closer together.

A special part of the meeting was an art therapy activity. Each participant colored their own mandala, choosing shades that reflected personal memories, emotions, and inner feelings. Drawing helped everyone not only reconnect with pleasant memories but also find a sense of inner calm and restore emotional energy.

It was a time of sincere communication, mutual support and emotional relaxation, once again showing how the library can serve not only as a place for books and learning, but also as an open community space for connection, wellbeing and meaningful social activities.

We sincerely thank the psychologist from NGO RESCUE for her professionalism, sensitivity and caring approach, and all the participants for their openness, sincerity and willingness to share their memories.
