“The Denunciation” is a historical novel by Ukrainian writer Oleksandr Havrosh, devoted to one of the most important and dramatic episodes in 19th-century Ukrainian history — the activities and suppression of the Brotherhood of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

The events of the novel unfold in Kyiv in 1846–1847, when young intellectuals, writers, historians and public figures unite around the ideas of Ukraine’s national and spiritual revival.
