The Girl Without a Dress is a novel by Ukrainian writer Liudmyla Volok (b. 1968, Tsarychanka). The author is a graduate of the journalism faculty at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and a laureate of the Korneichuk Literary Prize (2016).

Volok’s romantic prose explores themes of self-discovery, love and female self-identification. The heroine finds herself in a situation where familiar social roles and expectations no longer work, and she must redefine herself.
