Tiger Trappers (1944) is an adventure novel by Ivan Bahrianyj, one of the most popular Ukrainian novels of the 20th century. The story of an escape from Stalinist camps in the Far East.

Tiger Trappers tells of Hryhorii Mnohohrishnyi, a Ukrainian political prisoner escaping from a Stalinist camp in the Far East. Together with a family of tiger trappers, he experiences incredible adventures in the Far Eastern taiga.

Bahrianyj created a unique genre blend — an adventure novel and an anti-totalitarian manifesto. Tiger Trappers became the most widely read book of the Ukrainian diaspora and remains a classic of Ukrainian literature.
