How to Sell a Haunted House — Grady Hendrix

After the sudden death of her parents, Louise returns to her hometown of Charleston. She needs to sell the family estate, but there are two problems:

Mark—her good-for-nothing brother, with whom she hasn’t spoken in years and who is laying claim to the inheritance.

The house—it literally doesn’t want to be sold.

It turns out that Louise’s late mother was a professional puppeteer, and her vast collection of dolls and marionettes (especially her favorite—the hideous rabbit Hammer) has a will of its own. The house comes to life, traps are set, and childhood fears become a deadly reality.
