Prince Kyi — Volodymyr Malyk
Prince Kyi is a historical novel by Volodymyr Malyk about the legendary founder of Kyiv — Prince Kyi, who united the Slavic tribes of the Dnieper region.
Prince Kyi reconstructs the era of the 6th century when, according to legend, Prince Kyi with his brothers Shchek and Khoryv and sister Lybid founded Kyiv. Malyk creates a sweeping picture of the early Slavic world.
Malyk, best known for his Secret Envoy series, in Prince Kyi turns to the origins — the moment of Ukrainian statehood's birth.
