Poetry is a collection by Yurii Tarnavskyi (b. 1934), one of the founders of the legendary New York Group of Ukrainian poets. Tarnavskyi is a unique figure: a bilingual author writing in both Ukrainian and English.

His poetry is distinguished by experimentation, surrealist imagery, and freedom of form. Tarnavskyi rejected traditional rhyme and meter, creating his own unique poetic language that unites Ukrainian and world modernist traditions.
