Murder on the Orient Express — Agatha Christie

"Murder on the Orient Express" is one of the most famous detective works by Agatha Christie. The events take place on a luxurious train that is stopped in the middle of the journey because of snowdrifts. In the morning, the body of an American millionaire, Edward Ratchett, is found in one of the carriages. There are many suspects among the passengers, as each of them has their own secrets. 

The famous detective Hercule Poirot takes on the investigation and, using logic, observation, and analysis of evidence, gradually uncovers the truth. The novel keeps the reader in suspense until the very end and raises questions about justice, punishment, and moral choice.
