Borders of Dreams. On Unrecognized Republics is a documentary book by Polish journalist and traveler Tomasz Grzywaczewski (b. 1986). The author journeys through unrecognized states and gray zones of the world map — territories existing at the intersection of great powers' geopolitical interests.

Grzywaczewski visits Transnistria, Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia and other disputed territories. Through personal encounters and conversations with local inhabitants, the author paints a portrait of people living in phantom states. The book combines investigative journalism with literary travel writing.
